Foggy Today at 18:06 Request review

I see no difference between a lap dancing show to a hen night where there are male strippers.

That was my reasons for allowing my OH to go if it was a mens night.

Marion " As for the males at hen partys that is just a laugh to most woman...well the ones I know anyway. lol"
to you maybe but not to all and strange as it may seem some men are like that also ..they can do the male night out.

Do we think that the likes of male strippers or the Full Monty are funny and amusing a good night out or are they degrading their sex?

Definately 2 sides to a discussion here?

Also that in top clubs the dancers do not perform "sex" they just dance a bit like pans people used to do, but for extra money they dance for you.
hey whats wrong with that. We all did it at the disco's when single and that nice chap we would like to catch the eye of was there.

Just another take on it ...

When I danced in discos I kept my top on, Uzzi.

I was giving my opinion and could say more but I will 'bite my tongue on this'
I'm sure some will know where I am coming from.

actually, i wouldn't go to see male strippers either.. :))

I find it as unedifying to watch frustrated women ogling as i do to find frustrated men ogling... ;)

if you're not going to take it further I don't see much point...it's like having a cream cake in the fridge and just sitting and looking at it LOL

Marion,
aren't there any frustrated dirty old women then.?
It's always dirty old men.
Dont women drool over the men at hen nights.?
do me a favour....lol
Men are probably more open and honest about it..
I am with Eldrick on this, I cant see anything wrong in either sex working in these kind of entertainment places.

Sorry having some problems with browser.

I kept mine on too Gwynne. Oh, and LD clubs make my feminist hackles rise too.

I don't think they will keep streets clean as such. If I'm interpreting what you said rightly Uzzi then LD clubs will not keep the streets free from prostitution.

I do wonder just how many of these men who frequent these clubs would be happy to walk into one and see their wife/partner/daughter/sister dancing in one.

Sorry, Rose, I'm going to have to agree with you about the degrading of women. Maybe not as much as say porn movies but dancing half naked for cash is, to me, degrading.

I'm not particularly repressed either.

Needless to say I agree with Gwynne.

Grrr.....I change browser and now the box keeps jumping up and down while I'm trying to type, or at least it does once I've typed enough to have to thingy that goes up and down the side lol

Rose, I'm with you on the male stripper bit.

Rambling Report 1 Apr 2010 19:35

there is a huge difference of course between WANTING to be a lap dancer, and HAVING to be one because you are desperate for the money and think it's the only way of getting it.

Silly Sausage Report 1 Apr 2010 19:36

If my OH went in to one it wouldnt bother me but if he went and didnt tell me it would, I found it more alarming when a couple of women I used to know went in to one, as much as they tried to declare it was an accident I found it very very strange, aww well it takes all sorts.. ~~~~~~~~~~ Julie Cat I have missed you dearie ~~~~~

How do you 'accidentally' go into a lapdancing club? It's clear enough outside what they are isn't it?

George

George Report 1 Apr 2010 19:40

As I said there are 2 sides to this and a very good thread

By the way I kept my top on also, I have been to see male strippers and highly amusing it was too, on a girly night out.

Hayley I don't know if they still have disco's cos it was sooo long ago but they do in Spain lol

Silly Sausage

Silly Sausage Report 1 Apr 2010 19:41

Yeah Teresa obviously didnt think we were that bright pmsl

Guinevere

Guinevere Report 1 Apr 2010 19:44

I wouldn't be interested in that sort of hen night, George. Semi-naked, overly oiled, steroid enhanced, brain-dead blokes have never been a turn on for me.

The most important sexual organ is the brain. Intelligence is far more of a turn on than brawn.
