I've always said no one knows the state of someones mind when they take their own life, all l can say l hope they have now found the peace they so needed and condolances to you Uzzi and all his / her family, x

Its very sad when someone feels they have no way to go but to commit suicide,They really are in such a dark place that any rational thoughts on what it will do to their family is way on the outside of their spectrum ,as far as they are concerned their family can do without them .
i guess the family may take comfort, or not, that no matter what anyone may have tried to say or do they couldn't stop the event happneing cos the person had dug themselves in a very dark place that only death would release them.
Its very sad that someone finds themselves in that place.

Suicide by someone you know is a terrible shock especially if you have no idea they are so desperate.My nephews best friend hanged himself at the age of 17.Nephew had been chatting with him at school an hour before he did it.
It has taken nearly 2 years for my nephew to get his head around it and accept that his friend did this.
As you say Uzzi I think he was called a stupid *** for doing it.
My thoughts go to his/her family and friends at a very difficult time.xx

So sorry to hear such sad news.I used to give a lift to a man from work every night.Never picked him up as i did not know where he lived.I use to drop him off to his ex wife to see his little girl.He was such a fun loving bloke.Very chatty very witty.Did not have much but what he had would share.He was fun to have around at work.He commited sucide as well and i could not get my head around such a nice bloke thinking crazy.It turned out he was living in a dustbin cupboard and his ex was getting married again.I still think of this bloke and wished i had known all this before.He never ever appeared sad. Uzzi I am so sorry to read this, be gentle with yourself and with them. It's hard to go on sometimes, and more than likely there is nothing you could have 'done' that would have helped even if they had come to you. We all walk our own lonely road.

It's a terrible thing to lose someone, and to learn that they took their own life makes it all the more hurtful.
I hope your friend is now finally at peace, having left their turmoil behind them.

Oh Uzzi, I am so sorry ... I too lost a friend who appeared happy yet ... well, he is still sorely missed. He left behind a wife and 3 beautiful children.

Uzzi, I am sorry for the loss of your friend, what a shock for you and a dreadful way to die, everyone will have the memory every Eastertime and with no answers, it hurts so much more. May your friend rest in peace now.

Two men I knew from young did the same thing for different reasons and at different times, several years back, and a colleague of other half went to the loo at work and hanged himself, dreadful for his workmates to find him and devastating for his wife and family, no note, no explanation, no reason that anyone could tell.
My cousin's daughter did it at Uni in London, many years ago now, she had been dragged into one of these religious cults and her parents thought she had left them and got her life back, an only child she drank bleach and threw herself from an upstairs window, leaving them bereft.

Such a waste of life
