Remember? I'm sure there must be a few people around still who do! I have a suitcase full of 'things' relating to her travels, it has been sat in a spare room all this time. We are in the process of a major sort-out, and I would like to pass the case on to its appropriate destination. Does anyone know where/to whom these items were destined? Thanks x

Still got my mini Gaynor Bear. She has her own armchair in pink & white and she sits on the shelf behind me.

Was it Jenny, Mommylonglegs, that would know what happened to all the bits that were collected during her travels

Jenny was going to donate all the gifts that everyone got for the Gaynor Bear Relay.

Gb's owner that would be pleased I think to have the goodies, although maybe any photos could be emailed to anyone interested..

I sent a cd with 90 photos to Jenny when my part of the relay was done....

I think GB is still with Jenny, I don't think the second part of the project ever got accomplished so it is probably Jenny that needs all the stuff.

I have sent a message to Ann in Darlo and asked her to ring Jenny about the Gaynor Bear things.

I think Jenny must have left GR as she was in my contacts but not any longer.

As soon as I hear from Ann I wiil let you know,even Ann might come on the site to let you know.

Never joined in but watched daily, remember Gaynor thread with deep love when people on here had real empathy for fellow members not like the s---t that goes on here most weekends. God life is so short why can't you all get on. Love Carol

I will never forget her, a very brave, friendly, and funny lady bless her.
I still have my little pink Gaynor bear too.
I had so many lovely photos of her at her party and many in her home with friends she made on here.
I lost them all when my computer decided that it had had enough, and closed down on me.
I don't know where the 'bits' went, or where they should go but someone will know. Good luck.

It was a privilege to meet such a gutsy lady. x

Pink Diana was there too, although she wasn't Pink at the time, but I am sure she will know all the details as she is still friendly with Gaynor's family and her husband Rob.

I might have Jenny's phone number somewhere, we often chatted during the wee small hours if Jenny was having a problem sleeping.
I too still have my small pink bear sitting to my left on the sofa back, and have a few photos of when I took Gaynor Bear round the Lord Mayor's procession in Norwich with Yvette and Mal, they took lots of photos and I have some too, and some of the next day when GB came out with us on my son's birthday, went to a bowling alley and had pics by the river too.
I thought Gaynor Bear and all the things were going to Gaynor's granddaughters, would be nice for them to have the things.

Hello this is Gaynor Bear here. I got a message this weekend from a lady in Whitley Bay telling me about your post Auntie Sheila. Mommy will be in touch with you soon.

I am still with Mommy and living in sin with my sweetheart Beau Bear. We still have not got married YET???????

All my belongings are safe. I knew there were some of my things missing, but thought they were in the Norfolk area and Uncle Andy Ooop North has my pedal car and Harry Potter book.

Mommy has not been well for over a year now, and has to have something done to her back on the 26th of this month. Hopefully, she will be much better and be able to get out and about more. She can't sit, stand or walk very much at the moment. So has been very fed up and not a nice person to know and always crying at everything.

Do you know it will be five years on the 23rd April that we started the Gaynor Bear Relay at Mommy's Geordie Meet in Newcastle, and you all helped me raise thousands of pounds for Cancer Research UK.

It would be lovely to do something again this year. Perhaps me and Beau could get married???? When Mommy is better.

Have to go for some porridge now. I will be back soon.
