PS...l bought 2 dvd scrabble games, one for me and the other for a friend so we could play other than on facebook, they did'nt do the job.....grrrrr so l deleted myself from facebook and opened in another name (still my name but different) and l play 7 games now:o)) sometimes there's a day or 2 before some games are played but there is no pressure, other time's l'll sit for an hr playingo))

Years since I played scrabble, Jude! Can never remeber how to score, but could put the words together quite easily.

Hello Claddagh....yep if you want to:o)) l don't always finish a gane straight away, it might take a few hrs or even on facebook a few days...lol
Have just received my pc cd r but its the wrong one, so might have to send it back:o((

See what you have started now, lololol..... I have actually managed to find scrabble on FB.... and am in the middle of my very first game...... it is ages since I played, and I am a bit rusty...... but I have a 7 letter word, and I am all excited waiting for my opponent to make her move.........

Eileen I haven't played for over a year since we have been here, it is still in a box somewhere. The trouble with my FM is it gives me a woolley head and I can't think of what things are called and things like that. It would take me all day to finish a game now I suppose.
Jude my highest score was 550something, I used to keep a record of which level I was on and it's score but threw them out when moving. Must admit it's a great game.

Great to see you are feeling well enough to play scrabble Carole. Hope you continue to feel better and better....

I enjoy playing this game, it also helps me to keep in touch with the English language, seeing as I have mostly spoken Dutch for over 47 years, it becomes a wee bit difficult to keep up with new words and phrases sometimes.

Ooo eck Caz, l don't usually play the higher levels, l have used all 7 tiles on a number of occasions, but then l expect loads of peeps have!! Highest score at the moment is 377, not high....but l love the game too, keeps me brain working...lol

Hi Jude, I don't know, I bought it ages ago when family refused to play with me any more 'cos I kept winning. It is a de-lux one but packed away in one of the boxes from our move, I can play with about three others on computer but I have no idea if it can be used on internet. I like playing the computer as I use the higher levels and it gives me quite a hard game.
I love it, might have to dig it out again now.

So l have just a had a quick game and its now time to start tea, put the ironing brd up and watch Neighbours:o)) :o))

Scrabulous was the original name of the Scrabble game I play with my old friend, but this had to be changed, because it was too much like Scrabble or something.Was changed to Lexulous.It's a great game, not at all dodgy, and most important, it's FREE !

Ordered the 2007 new edition yesterday from amazon, abit more expensive, also my friends daughter has ordered the same one:o)

l do love my scrabble, l have 3 games going on at the moment on facebook, with my friends daughter, she beats me most times though, although yesterday l scored 77 with one word....yesss:o) lol

Just played a game on Quadplex, l lost but it was fine and free, but you have to be ready to play straight away. l like facebook scrabble more because l can play as and when l like, but l don't like facebook in general.
Is the lexulous site ok? it says something about authentisity (sp) 'it may be an attempt to trick you'.
May still get the cd rom then l can invite people, its £9 on ebay.
