Yes another nice morning.Very frosty and a bit on the slippery side.I had to watch my step just now.

Have just had an offer for Hannah's house.I daren't get my hopes up any more after 3 failures.Fingers crossed again.

Beautiful moon but no moths!!

Off to sell more panto tickets this afternoon.The frost has almost gone now and it is a clear day outside.
Thinking of 60's and 70's clothes starting me thinking of other things like being able to stay up all night dancing and still going to work the next day.
Buying my first car which was a morr*s 1000 and used more oil than petrol and took me backwards and forwards several times between Herts and Co Durham. Wearing hairpieces and trying to make up my eyes to look like Dusty. Living life to the full!!

Jane, don't ask !!! I can hardly stand up this morning. the bottom of my back feels as though its been hit by a steam roller.

Didn't see the moon last night, but a nice day again today. Going to the hospital to keep Ros company this afternoon. I'll take my reader, to pass the time, you know how you have to wait around these places.

Hope you are all O.K. and getting your jobs done, I won't be doing anything.

Was very frosty here this morning.

I thought i would get my other blinds cleaned this morning ,just got started when DIL turned up with the little ones for a coffee and to leave sons mobile that he had forgotten to take to work with him , hubby rang and said would i drop the phone off to him , so that messed my morning up , why he had to have his phone i don't know ,hubby had his with him !!!

I don't know it seems to be all pay out at the moment ,the car insurance renewal came yesterday ,and the Gas and Electric bill came today.

I didn't see the moon last night ,i'll have a look tonight .

Jane , keeping fingers crossed for the offer on Hannah's house .

Steak and Onion pie for tea tonight ,got the family coming tomorrow so got a nice piece of Loin of Pork from the freezer ,now off to make another Apple pie for pud tomorrow ,and if there's any pastry left over i thought i'd make a Cheese and Onion Quiche for friday.

Brrrrrrr it 's cold now.I have been sat here for ages trying to sort out insurance for Hannahs house.She didn't know she should have changed it when it became unoccupied.So I don't she has actually been covered by the right one for ages.It's done now .I didn't have the courage to do it all on line and thought it safer (for me) to do it by phone.That way things are explained fully if I am not sure about something.

I can smell Brisket.So can Chester lol.

I have'nt done much today, just fiddled with pc and cut OH's hair as he is going ringing tonight to help some learners at Okehampton.

Still I don't have to cook untill later as he won't eat before and he is going at 6pm.

I shall be watching the moon tonight too if it's clear as it is tonight it is full.

Afternoon All,

Quite a bad frost here this morning, so we were both out with the scrapers on the cars. Took OH's car in for it's MOT and it passed, so that was a good start. After we dropped it off I took us to the nice wild park and we had a brisk 2 mile walk up to the little cafe and back. Good excuse to stop for a cuppa and teacake. I took a few pics, including one of a man on a tall bike!! lol.

OH is off to another training session tomorrow.......he had to make 3 phone calls this week trying to find out if he was on it, but no-one was ringing him back, so he only knew he was going this afternoon!! They keep stressing that people must have a payroll number before they can claim any expenses, yet they still haven't given him or some of the others a payroll number since last October!!! They've asked to see his CRB check again as they reckon they haven't seen it........yet he took it with him and they photocopied it last October!!! He keeps muttering words like 'shambles' and 'chaos' and worse!! lol. I

Jane........maybe this time!!!!! Fingers crossed.

Your OH's job sounds interesting Anne. It's good when you get paid for doing something you love anyway.

Only muttering Ann?.He must be very controlled lol.I can just imagine what the language would be like in this household !!.It is pretty bad though isn't it.I'm surprised he is still going lol.I think I would feel like telling them where to stick their training.

Mel Chris wouldn't let me anywhere near his hair .Janice does her OH's with the strimmer or whatever the electric haircutter is called.It sounds like you will be eating late tonight.How far is Oakhampton from you?

Mandy I know what you mean we had the house insurance this morning and the oil bill which was £486.

Very true Mel...... the job is the school clerking one in education.......I think the children would do it better!! lol Just looked at the moon......looks lovely with wispy bits of cloud across it.

Evening all
Very frosty this morning, OH was glad he wasn't using the car , taxi came on time which was good, I dozed off again & got up around 8, wanted to be down the town for 9.30 this morning. so I could have pleanty of time to walk around the shops before I met some friends for coffee.

I have lost weight due to all the stress with dad so have gone back down to a size 8, only down 1 dress size, but needed to get new undies & a couple of jeans and a smart pair of brown trousers to replace the other ones for the time being, probably will take a few months for me to put some weight back on but at least I am enjoying my food again.

I also went into Pa*t T*mes to look at the sale and came out with a lovely little Jewlery stand been reduced by £4 so I was pleased with that.

Slow cooker on tonight with steak & onions for tea, SIL left 30mins ago with Sofia. so I need to go and tidy up the living room , all her bricks and toys all over the place

Boo Hoo! I have never been a size 8 or ten or....I was a 12 when I got married and that was a bit of a squeeze.I won't even say what I am now.It's disgraceful!

Fiona I'm glad you are enjoying your food again.Has that reflux trouble stopped? I wonder if that was all stress related.You do sound a lot happier now in your posts.

I was a 10 once!! Like you Jane i dread to think what size I am now!! I can still get in size 10 strechy trousers which I bought for mums funeral and my jeans are 12's, well the hipster ones are as I would'nt get in a 12 if they were waisted!! I have a big tummy!!!
