My OH has always been a 'good' dresser. When I first met him he was wearing chinos and a dark russet jacket. He has suits but prefers the mix n match look. He's quite adventurous with colours, too, not averse to pink, pastels or red/orange etc. Good outlets include Lands End, Fat Face, Gap, Debenhams. I was disappointed with M&S men's range this year, but he has bought some good stuff there in the past.

M&S are so old fashioned for men,

How about some nice light weight loafer shoes do all ranges from dressy to casual
Linnen shirts look nice with jeans or dress trousers
And a nice Blazer goes with jeans or dress trousers

Kay, I know.... but this guy has been ultra ultra conservative, lol and is buying for himself, he won't have a woman with him ;¬)) .... so M & S would just about bridge that gap at least at first... I think I have *met* the fella, lolol My hubby has been military all his adult life.... and trying to get him to move past Sgt's and Officer's type *informal* has been a bit of a nightmare, lolol M & S was the start. Next is pretty good, too.

Rose, I also think the biggest change would need to be his specs.... and his haircut. Those specs have got to go. Maybe he could have contacts?
