you should be able to get "mole smokes" at a decent hardware shop or country / farmers store. They are like fireworks that give off a strong sulpherous smoke, you just light it, drop it in the hole and cover the hole. Works well for rabbits too. |

Don't whatever you do buy one of those things you put batteries in and stick in the ground where the tunnels are........we did and they tunneled straight past it!!!! |

Mothballs placed in the run are very effective - moles detest them, but no idea where you would find mothballs these days. |

get some of those little hand held windmill thingys that kids have, plant them,the vibrations from the sticks repel moles |

I didn't catch them..they used to burrow up through the earth...resorted to traps in the end as it was the only thing that worked with the rats x x |

No but I have been known to do that before with the rat holes when they appeared in the chicken shed....it didn't deter them lol . |
