I'm thrilled Joyce has found her son. She often talks about him, and how she would love to know where he was. The last time she saw him. I know she had tried many ways of tracing him. Wonder if they have met yet. Best wishes going their way xxx

I don't know Carole, she told me she was seeing him on Monday then she rang back later and said he had asked her to stay at his house for the night on Tuesday. She must be busy as she hasn't rung today which she normally would do.
I was hoping she would ring tonight to let me know how aunt Leen was, she may tomorrow.

Thinking about Jan's Aunt Leen, wondering if she's had
her operation and how she is.
I wonder if Joyce has met her son, if she has I'm hoping it all went well for the both of them.

Hope all goes well when she meets her son, what a lovely surprise for her after all this time.

Joyce has just rung, she was on the coach back to Liverpool so she won't have seen her son yet. She is meeting him tomorrow , her phone cut off as I was about to ask about aunt Leen , if she rings tomorrow it will be the first thing I ask. She is going home Thursday now so an extra day here.

Joyce is going to ring Jan today and find out how aunt Leen's op went, will let you all know. I hope it went ok for her.
Joyce has had another bit of luck, a marriage certificate she sent for has arrived and it is the right one, she is over the moon, I'm supposed to find a thread now and tell them it was the right lady.

Jan rang Joyce to say they have put Leens operation back to Thursday now, he doesn't know why.

Well, I wonder how the reunion went for Joyce, haven't heard from her since yesterday lunchtime, she is going home tomorrow.
Aunt Leen is having her op tomorrow so sending her postive thoughts for a good recovery.

Just had a phone call from Joyce, she really enjoyed herself and had a great time. Plenty of tears obviously but good tears. She will be back on here Friday and will let you all know how it went.

Caz, thank you for keeping us all updated with the news from Joyce. I'm so pleased that all went well with her and her son, and that she had a great time. I hope now, that her son will continue to keep in touch with her, but I'm sure he will.

Hope the operation will go well tomorrow for Jan's Aunt Leen. It will be nice when the operation is over for her and the family.

Hello Caz....l have spoken to Dutch now, she rang earlier. How exciting was that for her, l've been away since Fri and got back yesterday so did'nt know anything till yesterday. She was over the moon and rightly so:o))

Positive thoughts for aunt Leen this morning. Sorry to bring more bad news but Leens sister Ria was told yesterday that she has cancer as well. Jans mum is making herself ill with worry over her sisters, but really how much more can that family take. Poor Joyce was so upset when she rang last night, after the excited call I got at teatime, it doesn't seem fair.

Thanks Sallie, Joyce will be home now, the plane was late setting off so she would have got home nearly midnight, she was very tired while waiting for it. She may not be on today but she will let us all know how things are when she comes back on.

Hello All this is just quick one as very tired,First i would like to thank my pal Caz for keeping you all update,and second to all for your your messages I cried when i met my son 10yrs is along time and my younger son had the phone number all along,he was trying to find me he ask my so called daughter if she had seen me she told him i was dead so he rang one of his brothers to find out,we dont talk to her but it was lovely i told him it was the best birthday present i could have wish for ,
But on amore serious note Jans Tante Leen had it op but the cancer has spread we dont no yet how bad but she is also blind but will keep you updated,and Tante Ria went back into hosiptal today as they have not got all the cancer out and also want to do tests on her throat,my poor M.I.L is so worried about her sisters its not looking good for Tante Leen ,her son took Jans mum in yesterday to see her .will no more as we are going there later,but one again thank you and we still need your thoughts for the family its very worrying time
