Now I can view 'updates' from all 'my contacts' everytime some one I have spoken to once by PM ( maybe to send them a BMD) adds anything I can see it ....woopee!

More irrelevant details, unless I go through and delete them , along with the info I sent/ rec which I might need to refer back to..

BUT I can't now read a message from someone who was a friend...

My early contacts are all blank... all the pm's have gone.

Why didn't we get informed? Some of the ones that have gone were when I was ill, and I haven't transferred that info, not all of it. Grrrrr

I now have 30 pages of additions that complete strangers ( that I have helped with lookups by pm) have made to their trres.......how useful.....

I have lost all the pm's sent when I was ill, including from Jean... plus some from Steve and Clive.

I am just gutted, absolutely gutted. They *lost* my first thread, then deleted the second because, it would seem, of a single complaint. And now this.

I could sob, really I could. How could they do something like this without letting us know? How DARE they do something like this without letting us know?

I wish the powers that be would put the site into the 21st century and get it working properly before doing such pointless things as this.

Obviously someone getting a descent wage for doing what they think is right. They just keep taking the subscriptions. Does'nt matter about human beings feelings.

Well i just went back and double checked & thought S**T mine have gone now

But.......I clicked on Jeans name & they were all there still

I've checked randomly on people i know I have spoken to for years ( it even says so! first contact 2007 for example) ..., and not deleted and in no case have I got messages in a previous year...for example Daff, I have messages for 2010 but nothing for 2009 or before.

So it seems if they are all in 'one year' they are there but if spread over two years the older year has gone

Oh R Rose and Daff........I'm so sorry you have lost all your pm's from people you hold dear. :-(((((

I've just checked on one of mine, the last contact was in June this year and the 1st contact was in June 2005.

So hopefully yours will all be put back when GR stop tinkering?

The date of 1st contact for me & you Rose was :26th September 2007
& that is the date of the 1st PM showing

*crosses fingers tightly* It looks like they are back.... I have been playing on FB, came back here to have another look, and hey presto, all back except my very first two pms... the contact is there, but no pm's... but that is fine, I am sure there wasn't much in those!
