Silly Sausage

Silly Sausage Report 15 Jul 2010 11:03

Once upon a time in a land a long long way away, lived a fat lazy fly called Graham. Graham had very annoying habits, he sat on food when people or cats were trying to eat it, just so they would stop and cringe and he could eat the food himself, but once they have left him to it he never finished it he grew bored and followed them to annoy them more. He was made a very annoying buzzing noise when he flew unwanted around people’s homes.

One day Graham decided to visit the Empress’s palace, by chance he was passing and he could hear the tones of her silky voice belting out Marvin Gayes greatest hits whilst she gaily went about her morning chores. Graham tormented the Empress by buzzing around her ear, whilst she chased him with a rolled up newspaper or her royal slipper, he laughed at her in a menacing croak as she missed, he dodged her damp cloth as she lunged at her sparkling windows and left dirty big streaks. Sasca the cat chased him when he went to join in eating her dinner, He skipped merrily around as Sasca left dirty paw marks on doors and walls, as the Empress screeched “ get it Sasca” ohh how Graham laughed and buzzed as he mocked the fools. After a busy day Graham hid and slept soundly awaiting his second day of bliss in the Empress palace.

The Next morning Graham awoke, to the smell of burning toast and the Sasca singing for her breakfast. Graham was weary and just slowing moving out of his hiding place when THUD, the Empress was standing over him waving her royal slipper about which still had her foot in it…. He was dazed stunned, he heard the Empress cackle as she disappeared, quickly Graham managed to stagger back to his hiding place, the Empress returned waving long sheets of kitchen roll, Graham smiled to himself, he would recover in his hiding place and then when strong enough return to his tormenting ways. The Empress spun round searching, scanning the wall and floor where Graham had fallen, Graham smirked. The Empress began to scream and curse, after an age, she called in the cavalry,”SASCA…. SASCA”, Sasca arrived and sat on the Empress foot and washed her paws in a lazy fashion. Graham was feeling very smug as by now he was gaining his senses, all of a sudden, Graham began to twitch he knew he had been spotted in his hide out as Sasca swished her tail and stared. Graham panicked and tried to crawl on to another point of safety, POW, Graham was stunned, he felt dazed, he lay perfectly still as the Empress again disappeared. Just when he felt it was safe, he knew he must fly Graham gathered all of his strength and tried to flutter his wings, when WHACK; the royal slipper had found him again. He felt him self being lifted he was wrapped in something white, he was on the move, he could smell flowers he was in a garden, he felt the gripped being released on him, Graham smiled to himself, how kind the Empress was helping him on his way, he would fly again, as the Graham again began to recover his strength as he could he was about to be released, BAM, his body felt sticky he couldn’t move he was paralysed, he looked about him as he saw, the Empress has put him in a spiders web, and marching towards him with a hungry look in their eyes were two big fat hairy spiders. Graham closed his eyes and awaited his fate.

OK was nowhere near that and if I had taken
longer to work it out would probably have had
a senior moment at some point trying to
remember why I started it in the first place.
