can anyne help me. My paternal grandfather was born in B'ham workhouse in 1880. His mother Elizabeth Brooks is listed also in 1881 census. I know he had a older sister called Polly. No trace under that name could anyone suggest what her name would be to be called Polly by her family? |

Shirley is right,in my book of names it states that Polly and variants Pil,Poli,Poll,Polley,Polli,Pollie and Pollyanna,is a variant of Molly or a diminutive of Paula. |
