Sooo embarrasing when the man comes to read the electicity meter - positioned (of course) in the cupboard under the stairs.
Have to remove the ironing board, coats, various bags hung on random hooks, etc.

In my attic I have (amongst other things) about 6 rug making kits and an enormous amount of green wool, a suitcase wih various objects in it, a bag full of fox and other random furs (from my gran's house)
A needlepoint frame with Kaffe Faset tapestry on it (jumble sale), two enormous globes (elder daughter) a vast range of original boxed Sylvanian family stuff (younger daughter), a roman blind, loads of black bags of clothes and shoes (mine & daughters), boxes of Tetley teamen, teacloths, and other artifacts(mine).
Schoolwork (both girls), uni work (mine) various Sindy-type junk - some of which is downstairs for grand daughter to play with.
Bags of curtains - I now have wooden blinds on every window - but one bag has some 1930's curtains in it!
2 years worth of schoolwork for year 5/6 from the 1980's (must find that for younger daughter - doing a PGCE in September) Historical education is so useful!! LOL
Quite a few black bags filled with various toys, a few bags full of costumes I've made through the years, and a number of empty boxes!!
Oh, and some of boxes of books!

LIR, I have (amongst other things) 4 cat carrying baskets (I've got 3 cats), a dog basket and a cat basket (cat's won't use them), a box full of bubble wrap, a rabbit carrying case (I have no rabbit) and - somewhwere - a lawn mower in my shed!
