Can anyone tell me why I cannot receive the actual household written document (not the printed out version).
The only original document I can receive is the enumerator's copy.
Surely we should be able to receive this with the extra premium we pay'

The household images aren't available on GR.

Maybe you should contact them and ask them why they don't have them.

Good point Rhonda when I first logged onto the GR 1911 census my feelings were the same.

It's far better to look at original records which also include the enumerators notes at the begining of each census.

Images can be seen on these sites:

For some odd reason, although genes reunited is owned by Bright Solid now (the owner of the find my past site), it does not seem to have the images. Very strange.

Bill Its also nice to see your'e own relative's handwriting, as in the case of my family. I obtained so much more from the 1911 Census.co.uk.

Maybe I should contact GR, as Christine in Portugal said, to find out why.

well if you can only see transcriptions then you may get the message no hits. I have found several mistranscriptions from the actual sheets which i have submitted amendments for. Its only looking at the census pages that you see them.On my maternal side my grandfather used the old way of writing capital S for his step daughters surname this was transcribed as an L so would have been missed if i wasnt able to view the sheet .
