well if you can only see transcriptions then you may get the message no hits. I have found several mistranscriptions from the actual sheets which i have submitted amendments for. Its only looking at the census pages that you see them.On my maternal side my grandfather used the old way of writing capital S for his step daughters surname this was transcribed as an L so would have been missed if i wasnt able to view the sheet . |

Bill Its also nice to see your'e own relative's handwriting, as in the case of my family. I obtained so much more from the 1911 Census.co.uk. |
