Another gripe following on from not wanting to disclose my email address was, receiving 3 identical A5 envelopes addressed to me with 3 different spellings of my surname suggesting that I should have gone to ***** to buy the car that I had already ordered. Told the salesman it was a good job that I had bought it otherwise I would have got 4 A 5 envelopes addressed to me. Two days later after I had taken possession of the said car, I received a 4th envelope, with a 4th different spelling of my surname, together with 2 postcards telling me there were some good second hand cars for sale,...... must have been trying to sell me my old car back.- Obviously sorting that out must be a' man thing' - JLe |

Beverley, you should have said to the Salesman, Obviously you don,t want to sell me a car so I go elsewhere and find some-one who does,Goodbye. The transformation would have been miraculous.then you could have given him the "Saxon Salute" and walked out. **M**. |

Yes Merlin. I was on the verge of doing that (slow fuse then stand back, that's me) when he suddenly seemed to realise what he was doing. Maybe he saw the steam coming out of my ears. I made it very clear I wouldn't be buying a car from him though. |

Beverley, for an added bit of fun, You could have told them you were also interested in looking for a "Ferarri" Thats a Fiat, albiet a rather expensive one. Me I prefer Jaguar, had them for years,as long as you keep them serviced properly you get no problems, apart from wear and tare.Take Care. **M**. |
