I love ricidule!

Libby

Libby Report 19 Sep 2010 21:43

Can relate to peggys (or toothy pegs)

How about: nee naw for police car etc

Dic doc - car indicator

My Mums best: "ricidule" - as in "don't you ricidule me" when we were laughing at her when she did something daft. Somehow it stuck and the whole family now use it.

One of my children named it so, as I was the one who would turn off the TV when it was time for meals, bed or a lovely sunny day and time to play out.

Jimmies for Pyjamas

Helen - I love 'windows' for glasses.
If I had said, in my house that I was going to clean the windows the family would have got sooo excited - then to just clean my glasses LOL

...Mind you, why I was the only one to clean them beats me - I don't think I had the words 'Mother - window cleaner exraordinary' printed on my forehead!

I used to get a funny look whenever i ask my children did they want ( worms' or snake's ) for tea = worm's were short spaghetti and snake's was long spaghetti.

When ever I talk about charlie, lily 1, lily 2 and the creep all my children know what I mean, but if they have some-one with them they have to explain and tell them that I have a name for a few of my plant's.
