Lived in one family house as a child , never moved. Had to sell it when dad died:(

Moved out when I got married, and whilst we 'tried' to move a few times things fell thro because of chains ! etc etc.

So when I married I moved here and am still here.33 yrs later and love it:)

I am I then top of the list for least moves.lol..?

Maggie - it is even worse as when we moved in here 30 years ago it was temporary until we found the house we wanted!

I have a relative who recently had his 94th birthday.
He still lives, as he always has, in the house where he was born.

my hubby's brother and sister on the other hand are still in the house they were born in, the house their father was born in, the house their grandparents moved into soon after they were married and they are the only family ever to live in the house.

I get a skip every year or so to clear out the clutter. My OH is a hoarder. Wouldn't mind if it was good stuff but it's rubbish. He never throws anything out, he even keeps old magazines, there no hope for him he is a hoarder through and through:-)

9 times. the first four were kinda 2 cos I was born in my Uncle's house with my parents and Nan, then I was took to live with my Grandparents in their house, then I was back to house I was born in with my parents, then they moved to bigger house so I went with then, then Grandparents had me again and I moved into their bungalow with them, they both passed away so moved back to parents and was then removed to live with my big sister. So thats the first 4 and then my sisters house. Then I got myself a flat on the council it was a high rise. Married while I was there moved to the Vicarage had a child and one on the way so got a council house and then finally 15 years ago bought our first house and still there.

As a child - up to the age of 15, I moved 12 times, went to 7 different schools.
As an adult, up to the age of 32 I moved 16 times, so that's 31 times in 32 years - and for one of those moves when I was a child, we stayed in the same place for 5 years!
I've live in the same house in Winchester for 22 years.

Chris - do you think we get to a certain stage where enough is enough!! LOL

Well was moved house as a baby back to mums family home. then as an evacuee was moved twice, back home again in 1946 . moved in 1957 then in 1961,then to this house in 1967 so guess in all 6 although most of em not of my doing. We bit the bullet in 1967 and moved out of London buying a new build in Kent and still here . next move most probably when the hearse calls!!!!!!
Sorry that does sound so morbid, mean we aint got any plans to move for now
