Puss, your story is so much like mine. Dad found to have cancer, six weeks of not knowing how near the end he was and wondering why we weren't told, until only four days before the end came. Having him at home, and me sitting up most of the night holding his hand, as he had done when his mum died only 8 years earlier and I knew he would want, even though he couldn't know.

We knew then it was better for him that way than the longer time we might have hoped for and had thought we would have.

i was the same janey i knew he was scared of a needle to the end he he just held his arm out most was done in a canula though, i was so scared too but had to do oit no one else would its disturbed me a bit to be honest no one prepaird me for the dramtic change in his face , he had been flushed up untill the last hour, im hurting to that people who around me everywhere who i have supported them in there health problems have just blanked me but i will fight back and be strong again i need to stop dwelling and making my self ill tbh
