I am making a celery and veg soup, and the recipe calls for 2 teaspoons of dried powdered Cumin. As I have never used this before, can someone tell me what it tastes like, and how hot is it. |

Cumin gives a bit of a kick, it is often added to other spices in curry. If you are worried try one teaspoon to start. |

It adds warmth to a dish, just tried some dried! its not over hot. Daughter said it tastes of Curry(not a lot of help). |
