Thanks Ann. I am now off to see if my sis (or her daughter) have got the Judy Picoult boof, (as I know they are fans). |

I hope the Red Queen is not going to prove a problem. On Amazon it is a bit confusing as to whether the paperback edition is out yet. There seems to be one edition then another paperback says due April 2011. If it is only in hardback it will be impossible to get from the library as nobody buys hard backs these days, and certainly I wont. I will have to see. |

Ann, I rarely buy the books suggested, I order them online from the Kent library site and if Kent doesn't have it (like "Lost" last month) then usually they can bring it in from somewhere else - my copy of "Lost" came to my little town from Milton Keynes. Usually it's 25p to reserve a book and they email you when it's arrived. Books from out of area are £2.00 or £2.50, I think. |

Yes it does Helen and I use it but it is 75p to reserve and, even though there are a lot of libraries I can rarely get one by a popular author within the time frame. Also I invariably want to take the book on holiday so need a paperback because of the weight. I will look around and see what I can see as I do want to read it. |

I bought the hard back copy of the Red Queen in Tesco for £9. According to Amazon the paparback will be out in April. |
