Some associations in the UK are banning hanging clothes out to dry, because it is unsightly and lowers the price of housing !

The article is mainly to do with the US .

FGS we haven't all got tumble dryers, think of the carbon footprint and cost anyway.
We have plenty of free windy weather where I live and as I wash every day ( unless there is a deluge of rain) there is no way I would comply with such a plan !!

I am fortunate that I don't live in rented accommodation, but there would be an uproar in this borough if the council imposed such a ridiculous plan !!!!
