Most of the time I do Joy, I have found it so in the past ...

I just so hope I am around to see when it 'comes round' to someone who deserves it...

lol take that either way for various people ;)

SueMaid Report 12 Oct 2010 19:39

Sometimes I do. Horrible things happen to people who don't deserve it and sometimes people who have done wrong come up smelling of roses.......but not all the time:-))

Kay????

Kay???? Report 12 Oct 2010 19:59

No I dont, just that what ever happens is part of life.

some have a dog rough time and wail ,whinge and indulge in self pity.

some have the same but sail though it without complaints or wanting to impact it on anyone else.

I know a few of the latter and I'd pin a medal on their chest anyday.

I'd like to believe fully, but see too often the opposite, so maybe it's in the next life.

if I did fully believe I would have to ask myself what I did so wrong lol

I'm a bit ignorant and don't really understand the full concept of karma but I definitely believe in what goes around comes around and that's it's part of life and its chances. Not saying it with any smugness but I can even look on the board tonight and see people who I remember being unkind to people who were having a hard time having a hard time themselves.

JoyBoroAngel

JoyBoroAngel Report 12 Oct 2010 21:48

agrees with uggers

but the threads just a thought in general

Rambling Report 12 Oct 2010 21:59

There's another way of looking at it though, that it isn't so much a punishment that these things do 'come round', but to give you the chance to understand and become a better person ( or if not 'better' not as bad lol).

I know I probably didn't understand how my ex's ex felt...until I was my ex's ex lol, that kind of thing.

Uggers

Uggers Report 12 Oct 2010 22:05

Exactly Rose - although sometimes it does give you a bit of satisfaction when someone suffers themselves after causing suffering, mostly most of us feel sympathy cos we've been there.

Sorry Joy, I realised that, it's just it had struck me before I read your thread:)

Hello Uggers:-)) I don't fully understand the concept of karma either. I suspect it isn't as simple as "what goes around comes around". I just know that it's not always the "bad" people who have bad stuff happen to them.

I do and I dont because some people seem to breeze through life treating people horrible and they always land on their feet while others seem to struggle and be plagued by bad luck or Murphy's Law

I BELIEVE IN KARMA
MAY TAKE TIME FOR IT TO COME
AROUND BUT IT WILL

JoyBoroAngel

JoyBoroAngel Report 12 Oct 2010 22:52

maybe its not really Karma
but the swings and roundabouts of life

though it is warming sometimes to see your day

We often feel good when we see someone get their "come-uppance" - but I wonder if those thoughts create bad Karma. Should we feel happy about someone's misfortune even if we do think they deserve it.
