Purple **^*Sparkly*^** Diamond Report 18 Oct 2010 03:04

I don't have enough eyebrows to do much, I plucked them too much when I was young and they don't grow anymore in that area, only the odd one now and then.

I realised that the same thing might work on my legs so used to pluck the short hairs as they grew back after using creams, shaving or waxing, and it's worked, I have several bald areas on my lower legs now so don't have to shave much at all. I usually plucked them sitting outside in the garden lol when no one was around.

I like the idea of having my face threaded but wouldn't want it done in public, I might end up looking like a lobster. I am getting a bit furry round the chin these days so pluck the darker more obvious ones out.

The lady who does mine is an Aranian. She is a hair dresser by profession. She told me that threading is a part of the hairdressing course in Iran. To pass the exams you also have to know how to thread.

I fancied having mine done.

But the ladies doing it are at the bottom of an esculator. I don't wan't the world & its mother watching - & the inevatable shouts of "HELLO MRS ******* !!!! " as kids from school walk by.

I get my whole face threaded about every 6 weeks. A lot better and less severe on your skin than waxing.

I had to google to find out what eyebrow threading is .....lol

I'll pass on this one , my eye brows are so faint they are hardly there at all , if they tried something like that me they would probably all fall out :O

they've got the offer on at our local S*p*rdr*g - it's at the end of the store, right by a HUGE back window - that's why I knew they were doing it.
Not sure I want the world and his brother to gawp at me being done!!

Lyndi Report 16 Oct 2010 22:20

Have seen it being done in department stores, but having it done with people watching put me off - and I have to ask..........just how much did it hurt lol.
