Det I looked at PAF (couldn't remember the name) and if I hadn't recovered my FTM I would have gone for PAF easy to use etc. I also have a friend who uses legacy I haven't looked at it and don't know if you can work on it off line like you can PAF |

You could try PAF from Familysearch. Legacy is another one whose name has been mentioned by others. I've no personal experience of either, although a 'friend' loves Legacy |

I have been using Genes Reunited for a few years now but have just, for the first time, downloaded my tree as a GEDCOM file which cannot yet be opened by my Windows 7 laptop. |
