Hi Everone, I HAD a contact who put nearly every one on my family tree onto his tree(Most of them no relation to him whatsoever) I was looking at the IGI index and hes transfered it to there, As far as i know everything I put onto my tree is correct, but he doesnt know that, so IGI index cannot be relied on ! Needless to say I have deleted him from my contact list ! Sheila |

This is what happens when you show your tree to someone,it's too late to do much unless there are living relatives copied, then you can ask for their removal. |

Similar thread earlier today , but I think everyone knows that 'submitted' entries on the IGI are not to be relied upon, anymore than trees on Ancestry or here. If you haven't done the research and/or seen the proof NONE of it can be taken as gospel. |
