As it is usually hot here on Christmas Day we generally have cold ham, turkey and seafood with salads followed by a lovely trifle and the usual mince tarts and Christmas cake. Then in the early evening we fire up the bbq and whoever turns up gets leftover salad and sausages. A great family day:-))

Absolutely no idea.
Apparently I'm going to my eldest's for Christmas - so i've been told by my youngest!!!

Duck isn't fatty if you have it young enough..............

AAH Kitty - thought I was going to be the only one for goose. Try to make the goose fat last as long as possible for the roasties! 23rd I always cook a very large ham and cover it with honey, nutmeg and cloves. Always the same they want that on Christmas Eve with eggs and chips!!!!

Oh poor Penfold.
We are having turkey and all the trimmings. I always buy one twice as big as we really need because my OH makes the best bubble and squeak for Boxing day lunch.
Truth be told I prefer Boxing Day, more relaxed and peaceful.
Have all the family for Christmas day and it gets very hectic and noisy until quite late.
