Have just put my daughter on the Manchester train, she is going to watch the film at the Imax cinema with her older brother. She has just finished re-reading all of the books, at least 6 times now, is excited and sad at the same time because she reckons that when the next film comes out her childhood will be well over.

Its a bit sacrey in two places it makes you jump ..but I,m really not sure the children under 10 will understand the story as its almost unknowable to the younger ones as they dont understand complexed story lines and some of its in dreams which is quite scarey

StrayKitten

StrayKitten Report 20 Nov 2010 15:35

That was a strange experience lol, D has a cold so didn't feel like going so I went by myself to one of the afternoon showings ( it's a multi screen cinema) ...and I was the only one there!

Did enjoy it, though I found some bits were skimmed over too quickly for my taste...but it is a long book!
