Follow up to my message a few weeks ago when I asked how long to wait for a reply.
2 out of 3 have opened but not replied. Would you prefer someone to just tell you to S*d off or just not get in touch. I know which one I choose.

You're right about bad manners these days. It doesn't take much to be pleasant

I had a PM from someone over the weekend asking to look at my tree. The person's name was not at all familiar to me. So Monday I PM'd them and said the same, and would they familiarise me with details, please.
I looked this morning and they have opened my PM.
So, not even an answer to say, "oops, I think I PM'd the wrong person, sorry"., no nothing. Just ignored.

Even if a message has been opened and they have lets their subs lapse they may not realise that they can reply to a message from a paying member and may not be in a position to pay for a 6 months membership.
