Never eaten Bambi either but we did have a monc jack deer in the garden last year which strayed in from the fields, very partial to roses they are and very shy of humans.

About 20 minutes per pound I think, never tried it before.
Maybe it is better pot roasted.lol

Grabs reindeer for Christmas lunch, lol, and chucks a snowball at Santa!!
Well he didn't leave me anything last year so he had it coming.
Perhaps he was dismayed at the size of my stockings !!!!!!!!!
