Snap Hazel and I'm not too far away from you.

The frost / ice has melted from the church roof behind our flat although we did have a few snow flurries early this morning.

The leggings beneath my trousers are keeping my legs warm but despite the three layers on top I still feel cold. I refuse to wear a vest because it reminds me of having to wear a liberty bodice as a child. lol

Since we had the cavity walls done and new windows this house stays war, I must admit the heating is on higher than normal because I have been drying washing but it is -7 outside at least and I am warm here, have four thin layers on. cami, two thin sweaters and a waistcoat. (Incidentally I am one who feels the cold too.)

I'm sitting here with two pairs of socks on,slippers.jeans,a long sleeved top and two fleeces.Heating has been on solid for 4 days and I'm still freezing.

The snow and ice all over the roof and ice down some of the walls dont help.
Even tha cat is feeling it she has taken to sitting on the floor where the water pumps through or stay's in bed lol.
I've got a fleecy blanket i use sometimes too .
** and a scarf I havent taken off since I came in**
