I spoke with Dutch on Friday - it was her leaving me the cough message lol. She said she has so many tablets to take and has been forgetting to take the ones to protect her tum from all the medication so I hope she will remember to take those now. I think it's Joyce's back (spine) that is the main problem and they have said there is little they can do so it's a matter of managing the pain to the best advantage. Poor Joyce has so many pills to take, if Jan picked her up and shook her she would rattle. I know she has been resting as much as possible so hope things will ease a bit more soon.

Will try and talk with you again soon Joyce, take care of yourself and hope Jan will feel better soon too, he is struggling going to work while having flu as the company aren't particularly sympathetic to poorly workers.

Heard from Joyce this evening, she's still in a lot of pain, and have been given some different tablets by her doctor, but they don't seem to be helping.

Still thinking about you Joyce, and hope that the doctors can find out what the problem is, that's causing you so much pain.

Sorry to hear that you are so poorly, Joyce. May you find some relief soon. Are you on Diamorphine yet? It is a bit drastic but the best for pain. Jean

You know what I think Joyce as we speak most days but I'm adding positive thoughts on here with a big ((((hug)))) a gentle one of course. Hope your heat mat did you some good last night and you got a better sleep.

I think Joyce tried to ring me last evening but I was out till past 8 and it was caller withheld, and when I got shopping unpacked I had to eat and make some other calls so couldn't text her to get her to call (again). There was a mutter and a cough and then nothing on the ansaphone lol

Hope if you are able to get on here and read the thread, it will cheer you to know people are thinking about you Joyce.
Take care and we will chat soon, hope the pain will ease soon, stop trying to do so much, as you often push yourself too hard and then feel bad afterwards.
