When we moved into a greatly reduced space, I had to part with half my books and it was quite an ordeal deciding which to keep. Now rely on the mobile library as have no space to put more of my own. Bought 6 paper backs from the Honesty shelves at the hospital on Wed, as the mobile library failed to come and will not be here until 12th Jan. This is when I start to think about a Kindle. It always seems to be our area that the van cant get to because it is being MOT'd or has broken down and they cant get the parts! I have read my own collection many times.

No contest, its always the Library, I love books, I collect them, and use the library, I was sad when I heard about the kindle, it worried me that books would disappear, my local book shop Walkers closed yesterday, i enjoyed treating myself and having a good browse at the latest books.
I hope our library keeps going.

Books and libraries have been around for thousands of years - the Kindle barely 4.

E-books have got a lot of catching up to do :D
