Oh my goodness, as soon as I strated to read the words I heard instead my mother singing this very song, she used to dance around the room with a duster in one hand and sing it so softly and work her way into great emotions. I will never forget this poignant but uplifting song. |

There is a newsreel film about the first flight of a passenger plane,( would it be a de Haviland Comet or a Dakota ?) to somewhere new,maybe Africa, and 'You Belong to Me' is the background music. |
