Thank you Christine and Sue the information on Frederick Pecy Gooch i have i also have copy of his fathers police record,its just finding out about Edith may Gooch from Christines answer above she died in 1975 and her name was still Gooch ,thats why i thought she had not been married on his marriage cert to Helen Morgan his father was .Frederick Stephen Frank Gooch ,profession pensisued metropolitian policeman that was in 1917

There is 4 marriages for Edith M Gooch,,,don't know which it could be..you may have to phone the GRO just to see if they would check the father's christian name on the marriage cert...

I can't find a death but they are only up to 2005.

have tried to find information on Ivy Voilet Gooch born 1921 but so far come up with nothing ,have looked on freeBMD and ancestry can anyone help please thank you

Christine just to let you no i got the certs today the death cert was right one and so was the marriage one ,the only problem was they had put different marriage cert in so had to ring them up and they going to send me the right one,it was her daughter Ivy who was the informant on her mums death cert was does this mean widow of James joseph Coates custodian,Ministry of works .97 Robinson road S.W 17 was that his job?
