Yes I remember the grove Family, I suppose it was a soap, not that we called them soaps then.

Howards Way - loved that too.
used to stay up half the night to watch Cell block H. Harold Bishop outa neighbours was the guard.

I loved The Sullivans! Takes me back to when I had my first baby, nearly 26 years ago, and The Sullivans was on in the afternoon when baby slept and I did the ironing.

Must say I was a bit bemused by it!

Do you mean "Bread" that was set in Liverpool, all about the Boswell family.
I think it was more a Sitcom than a soap though. I enjoyed the Liverpool humour in that.
