Prickles, it sounds so gorgeous am going to have to try it. I've done similar chicken before but not as yummy as yours, by the sound of things!

It takes about 40 to 50 mins depending on the thickness of the chicken. Hope it goes well! If not, i'm out of here!!! x

Morning Prickles Babes, and about time too, that you put this recipe up. Thought you was not going to bother.LOLOL.
Sounds a good one for me for a Sturday evening meal, so will try it at the weekend. I have a bottle of cider, hanging about doing nothing LOLOL
I like to have somethig different on Saturday, as if I have gone out for a meal.
Will let you know how I get on. Please leave the recipe up, long enough for me to write things down.

Oops, sorry just spotted this.
The chicken dish is really easy.
Just grease a dish with a knob of butter.
Depending on how many you are cooking for............
Grate the butternut squash.........add finely sliced leek and a clove of crushed garlic. Pour on about half a can or half a bottle of Cider.
Put the chicken wrapped in Pacetta ham on the top. Cover with foil...........remove foil 10 mins before cooked to give the chicken some colour.

Roast the tomatoes in olive oil.
The Aspargus tips stir fryed in butter and garlic take about 5 mins.

Mini roast poatoes, Cauliflower Cheese and roast stuffing compliments it perfectly. (I added roast parsnips because i love them)....Enjoy!

Cant wait for someone to try it!!!

Would love to try it but am not much of a cook!! Am excellent at putting together stuff from M&S, but now have finished work and got a new kitchen, complete with new cooker have decided to get busy and make use of it!! Maybe you would share a bit more information about the recipe Prickles...........please??? x

Let that be a lesson then young Prickles. Do what I do - a slow cooked stew or curry type thing - we'll go for a walk meanwhile cos it takes ages to cook.
It's so heavy you don't need a starter - Ice cream for pud, plus cheese or pate - cos I can eat that for England!!
Any leftovers of the 'main' (quite a lot if peeps don't turn up) are put in the freezer for later.
So speaks the woman who had a chef for a father in law (given an MBE for his efforts), a cordon bleu trained mother, and a head chef for a son in law - oh - and a brother in law who was gardener to Michel Roux's father Albert
No-one's complained yet - they daren't!!! LOL

The chicken was one of Jamie's recipes i found a couple of year's ago and it really is delicious. Something different that everyone seem's to love. I would be interested to know what you think if you decide to give it a go. Susan x

Why, dearie dearie me, what is to be done with you Prickles babes. You are beginning to sound just like Violete Elizabeth Bott. Hope you are not stamping your feet with this "eat,eat,eat" and "sick,sick,sick." tirade.
As regards that unmentionable person whose a**se you set fire to on Christmas Eve, well personally speaking, I would not give him house room, let alone room at my table.
