Is there a thread you always post on or group of people who you hang about with?

Twice this week I've been accused of being part of a clique/group of friends - the irony is that I didn't know most of them as I don't really hang around tips. I must have a chatty vibe after hanging round here to many years lol

It made me think, I'm not really part of any group on here these days. Don't get me wrong I do chat to people on here but I don't add to regular threads (apart from Doctor Who)

The thing is I don't really add to longstanding threads, they genuinely scare me. I feel as though I leave for a day and have lost track of who everyone is and what has happened. I prefer short threads or maybe a longish debate.

Sometimes people don't even answer my threads I'm so popular lol (this could be one ;) )

However, despite this I was wondering whether anyone would pity on a poor red Squirrel and adopt me? (Don't expect me to add to long threads though)

My memory is dreadful and I'm also awful with names, you'd have to keep reminding me who you are or used to be lol and how I know you. And don't expect me to answer on threads, i forget I post on them.

I know it's not original, Doodles has done something like this so I thought it could work for me too. I'm not expecting such success though :)

No I post where I want to post , surely that is the idea ? you dont actually need to know the person , you are commenting on what they have said .

Who am I?

i have friends and family on here that i hang about with in real life
we visit each other and have lunch out often
we ring each other or text so always in contact

so dont need add to there threads unless i want to

All the red squirrels have been driven from Ontario by the blacks and greys, who are cute as buttons and aggressively friendly (as they climb the wall of my house to my office window for their handouts, and move into the eaves and fight all night ...), but I miss the reds of my childhood in Victoria Park in London Ont ...


If I may be excused now, I'm off to go hang out on a streetcorner with my GR clique and trip newbies and steal their lunch money as they skulk by.

I will adopt you Red if you stop saying gotten........ I mean...you of all people......who are you again? I have forgotten. :-))))

Oh, btw, shh -- don't tell them that thee and me are cousins, via our close family relationship with 007 himself!

Well in a whooshed thread you said I would always be Maid Marion to you, and we met in Liverpool a few years ago, and I love singing ferry 'cross the Mersey with Stel's OH, and then there's Dr Who threads ..... :-)

No, I do not have any friends on GR.
I have chatted to some lovely people on here, and have met some really nice friendly GR members at a few meets, but that's about as far as it goes.

A lot of reds in our area Janey unfortunately died about 3 years ago. They were fiercely protected from the greys but I think caught a disease and we lost about 3/4 I think. It's a shame, you don't really see them when you visit them anymore.

I have never ( contrary to any misinformation lol) been part of any clique, what amuses ( and sometimes irritates me to the point of kicking something ! ) is that I have been seen as being in ( the perceived ) clique A by group B, whilst simultaneously seen as being in Clique B by group A.... and in reality having 'friendly acquaintances' in both.

No offence to anyone, if a topic interests me i will post on the thread...whether I know or like the poster or not...or whether they know or like me lol. If i haven't anything to say on it but want to acknowledge the poster I might wave or say nice to see you posting :)

Well, anybody wants to meet me, Diz, is welcome in the spare flat any time! At the moment it's unheated and the water supply is a bit of a problem ... best wait til spring ...

Glenys the Menace came to town in the summer a while back, and No.1 and I joined her and the family for dinner and looked at a few sights. Her favourite was ... the groundhog in its burrow under a tree in front of a famous building, begging for food ... And of course the Mountie, although he wasn't so chummy.

So I have references. ;)
