I am reading another of Jo Jo Moyes book, can't remember the name but will look it up. I noticed on Coronation Street the other night that Gail was reading the book I mentioned. 'Me Before You', but she said it was about a paraplegic and it's not, its about a quadriplegic! :-D

Miss Nitpicker BC XX :-D

The book I am reading now is 'The Last Letter from Your Lover' - very good so far.

Is that a coincidence BC.
I saw the cover of Gail's book and heard her say para and I've not long started it. First of Jo Jo Moyles I have read.
.
I enjoy Dilly Court and have read all her books. Like light reading.

Have just finished The Christmas Angel by Marcia Willett, good but not up to her usual standard, wondered where it was going in places and some people and happenings didn't seem to have a reason. I usually enjoy her books though.

Have just started The Ghost of Lily Painter by Caitlin Davies and have The Beach Hut by Veronica Henry, Before I go to Sleep by SJ Watson and Fallen by Karin Slaughter to take on holiday with me.

I remember bawling my eyes out to White Fang !! M

Have read London and enjoyed it. Have not passed it on to a Charity shop as I will read it again.

As rather inactive at the moment I have read quite a few books.

Among them are -

The Hindi-Bindi Club by Monica Pradhan Shades of Amy Tan's Joy Luck Club, but also addresses the serious subject of Partition in India. Sad, moving, informative and funny, well worth reading.
- - - - -

Last Train from Liguria. by Christine Dwyer Hickey.

I found it gripping. Starts in 1924 in Ireland and takes you to London, different patrs of Italy and back to England and Ireland. Finishes in present day.
"Writing as deep and warm and soft as a kiss, a story as stark as a knife... Buy three copies at least, because this is the kind of book you press on your friends, and you'll want to keep one for yourself... I promise you, this is the best book of the year. It's extraordinary" GLASGOW HERALD

_____ Also read a Wally Lamb Book "The Hour I First Believed"
This is about The Columbine Shooting in 1999 and its aftermath.

Will be reviewing it on Ann Glos GReaders Thread. (when I see it).

Another book well worth reading, but NOT light entertainment.
