Has anyone else ever noticed how genealogy seems to be a little oasis of politeness, helpfulness and mutual support and absence of rivalry and one upmanship? Maybe its because of a fundamental equality - we all have exactly 2 parents, 4 grandparents, 8 G grandparents etc.. |
