I agree with you Janet - Karen is lovely, but a bit of a softy when judging. I don't think that the head coach (whoever fills that role) should be on the judging panel anyway - the judges need to be objective and not too close to the contestants personally. if you wanted the perfect judges then you would look no further than Chris and Jane - but like Karen they are too involved with the contestants.

Jason's criticisms are usually right - but he does need to think more carefully about the way he says it - there is no need for his comments to be so personal.

I also think that the producers should not be leaking what disciplinary measures they are considering - who might be sacked and why etc - it should be dealt with privately with the people concerned as would be expected in any other job. If the outcome is a public apology then that is when the public should hear about it.

I agree with both of you Janet and Tina. When Karen was a judge she very rarely criticized as much a Nicky and Robin let alone Jason. I wonder why they took Nicky off as a judge, Ithought he was good. I like Robin though, his judging is accurate and fair.

And I do agree about disciplinary ,measures. They should be private. I actually think that the crowd are told to boo Jason, or encouraged, it started as being funny, now they do it all the time.
