Went to docs last Wednesday with half a numb left hand (he's ruled out anything sinister as I have feeling in thumb and fore finger) but said I need an MRI scan...............my appointment is for this Sunday |

When Sir Gerry Robinson took a look at the NHS one of the things he came up with was the lack of use of theatres/equipment and suggested finding a way to utilise this expensive outgoing of the NHS more cost effectively. Whilst I never endorse working on a Sunday, as such, this may well be one of the results of his findings. Having a very expensive piece of equipment working only Monday to Friday is not the way forward. Getting an appointment sooner, rather than later, may be the result of his findings. If so, well done. |

Gwyn well done to your GP for realising something was serious enough for him to follow it through and getting your grandson treated. |
