I think those fish are Mini relatives of Piranha and the Great White Shark, They eat flesh,But with the Later they only do it once but your feet go with it.Gives a whole new meaning to "Feed the Fishes".**M**.:o)>pmsl .Hello Emma.

I dont fancy it. I'd be thinking about what horrible scabby/cheesy feet they had been munching on before mine lol.

Just read in the paper about possible risks of spreading deseases. some place in the USA have stopped it.

I had thought of trying it, there is a place in our local shopping mall where you can have it done! Not so sure now tho.

Already banned in 14 US states, fish pedicures have been given a health warning here in the U.K. and the practice is now the subject of a major investigation, the Health Protection Agency says.

Experts are worried that the new and extremely popular form of beauty treatment could spread infection and disease.

The treatment involves customers dunking their feet in tanks teaming with the miniature toothless carp that strip away any dead skin.

But it has been revealed that infection could spread from person to person through open wounds.

Salons say they use UV-lit tanks which are constantly filtered to keep them clear of disease.

But environmental health officers say this isn't enough to prevent health issues from arising.

An agency spokesman said: 'The HPA will examine the most up-to-date evidence of any possible risks associated with fish pedicures.'

i did see the program on tv about fish eating the dead skin off your feet,the person having it done didn't like the idea to start with but enjoyed it once finished.
said feet felt clean and soft.
i just cringed,i just wash my feet as quick as poss in shower,ugh don't like feet
