I think you can only describe a marriage like that in 3 words (as you said at the beginning, Rose) - civil, cold and indifferent. (Sounds icy!) I don't think you can encapsulate those in one word, not one I can think of, but there are those who may think differently! x

I’m feeling apathetic when it comes to writing prose

But I have no time to spare so I’ll have to be pragmatic
And turn my nebulous thoughts into something more dramatic!
