Hi there,
Daughter broke her back on Monday. It is now pinned and screwed but she is still in hospital climbing the walls to get out. Please pray for her. Thanks

Dear Allison

Hello

Oh my goodness.

It's wonderful that the surgeons were able to mend the injury.

Your daughter will soon be home and will be able to recover at her own pace.

For now, try and get some rest yourself. You have had a very bad shock.

Take very gentle care
Very sincere wishes
xx

I send healing thoughts to her. Can't imagine how she's feeling being imobile. Tell her not to climb the walls it won't help her recovery. Away for 9 days hope the news is good when I get home. Elaine.

So sorry to read this, I hope your daughter will heal well and soon and will find a way to alleviate the boredom. Must have been a dreadful shock for you all.

One brother of Ash, the young lad who was injured by an ied in Afghanistan, also broke his back at the weekend, had a motorbike accident I believe and is now in a brace, still in hospital but feeling positive, I suppose his brother is a good role model. His is a fracture but he was in a lot of pain earlier in the week.

Positive thoughts for both these patients.

Thank you again. At least she is home now and is able to access facebook and keep in contact with all her college friends now. Tablets not strong enough, but hoping to cheer her up with cake and custard later.

My wishes also go out to the other lad. Seems to be the week for it. Take care and thanks again.

I wish all the very best to your daughter and hope she goes from strength to strength.

And to you Allison I wish the strength to smile when she gets down in the dumps..... so that you can pull her up with your positive attitude.
All the best to you and the family....

Very pleased to hear your daughter is at home now, Allison, easier for you to cheer her up and nice that she can be in touch with her friends. Maybe they will even come and visit, especially if you mention cake and custard lol

Hope she will mend well
