Bertett~~Hi
They have do outdoor activities on the Duke of Ed as a matter of course
but have to do some thing' technical' else in addition that's why I wondered if he did music.
Hope he enjoyed it and goes on for his Silver and Gold.

Your grandson could do music for the skill section of the D of E Award. Our daughter did her ballroom dancing for hers. She achieved Bronze, Silver and Gold D of E. I believe you have until you are 25 to complete the award.

Grandson isn't doing music on his Duke of Ed he's doing outdoor pursuits
ie:mountaineering,camping,map reading etc.

Did he do Music as part of his Duke of Ed award..?

Dau started on her Gold but then went to Uni and got a job, but was pleased she got her Silver as she's not really an outdoor type.

Yes Bridget he would like to be a music teacher in a school eventualy,
he knows he can not just get a job as a music teacher so therefore he has taken other a levels ie: History, English Technology to name a few.
he's just got his Bronze Duke of Edinborough Award.
