Glad I am not the only time waster anyway. Wonder if the post total goes right back to the beginning? Id so those who were on the original chat board will have a lot more I suspect. Strangely though (and seriously). There are times when I don't post at all because I am making cards Hmm! That probably makes it even worse. :-) :-) :-) :-)

Lol Huia - me too!!

Oo-er, and there was me saying that Ann in Glos had the most posts. I hadn't noticed AofGG (mind you, half of hers are on the norty thread!)

I was shy when young, Persie, but these days I am definitely the opposite. My number of posts probably rose dramatically when I found we could put avatars on, and the emoticons, not that I can see them, but I now know what the strange things mean and can put them in myself. I have spent most of the past 36 hours on these boards. I hope the novelty wears off soon or the house will go from being a shambles to being a complete and utter rubbish tip.

Ann of Green Gables is often around helping people and I think I see her on a few others. Wow 40,521...

Makes you seem quite reticent glossy Ann you should start more threads and chat more.

You and I, Huia - we are very quiet little kiwis (little being the operative word) for two that have been here for quite awhile neither of us have posted that much.

Shy and demure that's us. :-) :-) :-)

Persie who is ever so shy ( they don't have a shy icon)

Huia Report 8 May 2011 07:05

Ann of Green Gables has 40,521 posts. I typed her name into the search box and it came up with a thread to which she had added. Is she still on the boards?

lol!

Huia Report 8 May 2011 06:49

Yes, Sylvia, I realised that when I was cooking my dinner. I can only blame my silliness on the fact that I needed more nutrients for my brain.

But I will stick to my theory about sore fingers/tiredness/broken abacus for the fact that they dont display anything over 40,000. :D

Huia

every time you post, it increases your number of posts by 1

and the number changes on every previous post

.......... so all your posts will show the same number

I will have to see if they have corrected the numbers when they wake up.

H.

edit: somebody must be awake, my number has just gone up 1.

Huia Report 8 May 2011 06:13

Hey, Janey's number of postings is the same on all three that she has put on this thread. I told you the abacuses were broken!

Huia.

edit: mine too. I dont think they mean the number of topics we have started, do they? I am sure I havent started that many.

Huia

Huia Report 8 May 2011 06:11

The GR team didnt have enough fingers and toes to go beyond 40,000, Janey, or their abacuses (is that the correct plural?) were falling apart from all the use they were getting.

At least if our name shows as being the last poster we know there are no new threads for us to look at. Not correct grammar, that sentence, but hey, who cares? Grammar doesnt seem to matter much these days.

But apparently Ann o' GG has y'all beat!

In my thread

http://www.genesreunited.co.uk/boards.page/board/general_chat/thread/1267579

I've been told she has 40,000+!

(Now I wonder whether +! will turn into some kind of fool emoticon ...)

Well I just realised that the amount of posts made by each person shows under their details of membership etc and my amount is enormous. Haven't been posting so much lately as not on here so often but used to be very busy during the nights a few years back, when lots more nightowls were around.

Oh! Has the question I just started a thread about been answered? Ann in Glos is the champion time-waster? ;)

Her own, of course!
