Just before I toddle off to scrounge up some food and watch the latest Casualty that No.1 has downloaded for us ...

JaneyCanuck

JaneyCanuck Report 11 May 2011 02:56

... get out your party hats and noisemakers and pop a cork, because ...

JaneyCanuck

JaneyCanuck Report 11 May 2011 02:57

Persephone

Persephone Report 11 May 2011 03:06

That was me I viewed the party and decided I didn't like the song...

You better get Ginny to come to your party and liven things up.

G'night Janie

Persie ;-) :-)

Nah, old. Stay in and watch Casualty, that's our style.

Can still laugh at meself, though. ;)

At the board where I've accumulated 30,000 posts over 10 years, they post "milestones" on the "chat" board.

I thought we should do that here. Congratulations, so-and-so, on your 100th post! Etc.

Starting with moi. :D

Rambling

Rambling Report 11 May 2011 14:29

Congratulations on your 20001st post Janey ;-)

I suppose I should aim for 30,000 then...but am laid up with a case of inertia :-(

Rambling

Rambling Report 11 May 2011 15:11

It's a nasty thing that BC and VERY catching :D

JaneyCanuck

JaneyCanuck Report 11 May 2011 16:18

I think I have had the old-fashioned strain all my life, laziness. ;)

The old drugs might have worked on that one (like the proverbial kick up the backside) but it was clever and evolved into the more resistent modern variety!

I think I shall appoint myself the official milestone-marker and patrol the boards for people hitting their marks, and throw parties.

Or is that just too much work ...

ButtercupFields

ButtercupFields Report 11 May 2011 16:26

*picks fluff from navel and watches clouds drift by......go for it Janey!... :D :D

You go for it Janey and please keep us posted.

I think admitting to watching Casualty probably lowers my brow in the view of certain quarters, but to us, you see, it's exotic. ;)

I shall watch for your 1,000th.

Everybody feel free to alert me when they approach a milestone, so I can throw a party!

AuntySherlock

AuntySherlock Report 12 May 2011 05:47

Is this one a milestone post???

AuntySherlock

AuntySherlock Report 12 May 2011 05:51

Oh goody, only four more posts until 2920, that should rate a gathering of minimalistic proportions.

:P

Well done Janey, and I will refrain from making comments about certain people's verbosity.

And maple syrup on porridge is just lovely.

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 12 May 2011 06:15

I have a very mild strain of 'inertia' - it's called 'relaxing' :D There is no known cure but it's not seen as such a blight on society.

'Verbosity'? ooh that sounds nasty:O
