Help with what is written on a birth certificate

Thanks that has answered the question as it appears the middle christian names have been mixed up as the inittials are BAM but the informant was B M so guess that is the error.

Jan is correct. The number just refers to a mistake on the certificate (the number 7 refers to the seventh the registrar has recorded either that day or in a particular period of time). The registrar has a book in which he records the mistakes and they are numbered as per the certificate.

I would think it refers to a mistake or a change of some sort?? Is there any way you can visit the local registry office and ask for advice? Or the local archives centre maybe.

Under mothers name it says the number 7 in brackets after the first two christian names, then another christian name then surname.

Then at end of certificate after all the boxes it says Seven in words W.E.C. which are the intials of the registrar.

Has anyone any idea what this could mean please with the number next the names under mothers name.
