Can anyone explain why after being a member since 2007, every other time I want to come on Genes, even after being on the night before or even a couple of hours before, I have to sign in and give my password? :-S

Been a problem for serveral days now

I don't think that the length of time you have been a member has anything to do with it.....!

Thank you all for your replies, just come back on after son visiting and had to sign in again, think I will contact the powers that be tomorrow, knew it wasn't my laptop, just had it health-checked and everything OK.

I tried to sign in on Saturday morning to read a P.M. but couldn't get in. everytime I put in my e-mail addres it said it was wrong (surely we all know those off by heart) however I plodded on and on, then gave up and went on Ancestry. Sunday- the same-Today-the same. sent G.R. a message and miraculously I am back on.

This happens to me every few weeks,always at the week-end when you can't contact them, It's very annoying. I checked back. Lost contact in April-February-November, further back I can't check as I've emptied deleted messages. I ask G.R. very politely why this happens but they never answer my question. I now know that I am not alone. It's like the X-Files.
