Good on you Annie,for caring.
No one ever knows the circumstances of how people end up in a hostel.
There for the grace of God go I.

Ann we get all types in the hostel. Some people where they have lived on the streets end up with mental problems..We have had a man recently that was on the streets and he was a ex soldier.

How lovely Annie that you were able to communicate with her and how sad not to have a single thing. the poor child must be terrified.

We have a lady that came into our hostel this week with a child. They came in,in the clothes they were wearing and could not speak a word of english. When people move out and leave things behind i always wash anything and store.Today i gave her lots of stuff including toys.I got a big smile and she made me a cup of tea.Communication already started.
